MoM Entertains a Beauty Queen – Who Just Happens to be a Nuclear Engineer too!

Mom entertained for a private show for Community College Catalyst intern alums and Salinas/Monterey notables in mid May.   Held at the Steinbeck House in Salinas, the special event was in honor of Valencia de la Vega, a nuclear engineering major from West Point, a former Army Captain who jumped out of planes in Afghanistan, currently an engineer at Intel and oh by the way is the reigning Ms Latina World.

Too Much Fun With Laura and Rick Hall

The music workshop with Laura and Rick Hall was great fun! We learned a lot and sang our hearts out. We also got to be one of the first to experience Laura and Rick’s brand new Improv Karaoke and it is amazing! It’s a two cd set: the first CD is a tutorial which is informative and funny and the second CD has the karaoke tracks. It is great for improv groups, classes, performances, parties, and even your daily commute!
