Dan discovered Improv in the 1980’s while fronting a saloon band in Mendocino. When too intoxicated to remember the lyrics, he would make them up,  often with a marked improvement to the original.  A couple decades later, playing in a band with Laura Hall (Whose Line Is It Anyway?) – Dan became intrigued with the concept of performing improv, asking Laura over and over again, “No really, tell me again, you get paid for doing what?” With a testosterone level too high to allow him to participate in traditional theater, Dan applied for work with the Mirth’O’Matics after losing a bet. In his free time, Dan enjoys red meat and naps.

Last night, a whole bunch of folks didn’t waste their day! The Mirth-O-Matics hit it out of the park for a standing room only crowd at The Works in Pacific Grove. Enjoy some photos!
