Laura Hall, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and Rick Hall, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” join The Mirth’O’Matics for an evening of improvisation comedy at the Pacific Grove Center, Saturday, May 12, 7:30pm. Audience suggestions will be turned into hilarious scenes, made up on the spot in what will be a fun and family friendly evening of improv comedy. A percentage of the evenings proceeds go to support the Pacific Grove Art Center, a non-profit community organization whose mission is to enhance art appreciation and encourage the creation of art.

Dan discovered Improv in the 1980’s while fronting a saloon band in Mendocino. When too intoxicated to remember the lyrics, he would make them up, often with a marked improvement to the original. A couple decades later, playing in a band with Laura Hall (Whose Line Is It Anyway?) – Dan became intrigued with the concept of performing improv, asking Laura over and over again, “No really, tell me again, you get paid for doing what?” With a testosterone level too high to allow him to participate in traditional theater, Dan applied for work with the Mirth’O’Matics after losing a bet. In his free time, Dan enjoys red meat and naps.
